The Killing of The Resurrecting People and Tribe

Very few people are aware that the ZLR Haipou Jadonang as the first Naga who rebel against the foreign rules and it has completed nine decades. But, we may also ask how do ZLR become a Naga? Not many have heard the martyr of the Naga Raj, which was a threat to the Manipuri Kings and the British. Many are not aware of the “Rani” title given to Gaidinliu by Jawaharlal Nehru. Many did not know that A.Z. Phizo came and invited the ZLR leaders to enter the fold of Nagas and support the cause of liberation.
Only few are aware of the ZLR issues; who are acquainted with the leaders and the question rose from trivial angles. The ZLR has been known to other tribes as a big confederation in the past, but now has lost its sanctity in recent years with through different developments and pursuits. ZLR movement was also cowed-down by the Naga National movement. Later many of our leaders and people followed the suit, but, were slowly brought backed home one by one in a coffin and still does continues.

We can also survey around, how the rising leaders are threaten in one way or the other terming sedition charge or disrespect to the liberation chastity. Many leaders have been murdered and attacked for a case of difference in ideology. We the people may also say the UGs are SELF-SELECTED GROUPS OF MALCONTENTS who could not perceive the innate wisdom and justness, of what the other leaders has done for our community. The hyper-patriotic boosterism may change demonstrably the public temper. There are solid historical basis that explains violence towards our community that fires and kills only from within.

Every person are made a prisoner in our own land, marking jurisdiction in social mobility and speech. For instance; “two of my villagers asked an enquired the Ugs, if the Ugs do not work for the people, what is the purpose of existing, the two was summoned, beaten black and blue with Rs. 50000 fine”.
“In another incident, a person was made in a wanted list; shoot at sight for seeking justice in the Indian Court”.

Now in every Naga community and region, we/they/Ugs have become a victim of our own power, thinking that we are the boss here, making ourselves a fool’s paradise. This has come with the perils of ignoring our history and its values, leading to widespread and justifiable unease in our land.

The silencing of the experts is part of a larger problem, which is demonstrated in the barrel of a gun. Since the experts are being silent and has distorted in the use of their knowledge, we are now living in someone fool’s paradise and this is the place where we continue to kill the resurrecting people and tribe.

The militant infested ZLR region, covered with the pride of I AM A MILITANT jangle around, which oppressed people directly and indirectly. The big theme of liberation is tainted with oppression and marginalisation, for this reason every educated person, leader wanted to walk out of the public domain and settle a secluded life.
We may ask today, can there be peace without Gun? And can there be peace with Gun?

Now, the intellectuals and the writers are buoyed with threat and warning from the UGs.
They suppressed the voices of the people, when truth is spelled out. They don’t want to accept their devilish actions. They think they are the gods that
nobody is allowed to question their deeds. And they always CRIB they are the best!
Last week itself, a particular UG has warned a good naga writer, a columnist, a golden naga intellectual – Thepfulhouvi Solo – for speaking out his mind and aftermath analysis of the naga future in regards to the chaostic interim govt.
They are unreasonably suppressing even our basic Rights. I believe, civilians uprising is bound to happen. Should happen.
